Booth Hill School

Daniels Farm School

DFS Kids on Stage will be Friday, June 7, 7 p.m. The 5th grade picnic is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12.

The last book fair of the year will be held Tuesday-Friday, June 11-14, during lunches. Parents are welcome to come and shop along with the students. If you’d like to volunteer to help, visit and click on the iVolunteers link.

Field Day has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 18, (rain date June 19). Send your student in wearing their Celebration of the Arts T-shirt, along with a towel and water.

5th Grade Stepping Forth will be on Friday, June 21.

Frenchtown School

June’s Character Trait of the Month is Helpful and the Country of the Month is the USA.

The final meeting for this school year for the Town Wide Cultural Diversity Committee will be at 7 p.m., at Frenchtown tonight, June 6. All are welcome.

The Student Council lunch will be Monday, June 10. The children will enjoy pizza and some outdoor games.

June 13 will be K and 1 Awards Assembly at 9 a.m. in the cafetorium. Parents will be invited if their student will receive an award.

June 14 will be grade 3’s Flag Day presentation at 9 a.m. Parents of grade 3 students will be invited.

Safety Patrol luncheon will be on Monday, June 17, at 1 p.m. The children will have pizza.

Graduation and luncheon for grade 5 students will be on Wednesday, June 19 at 9 a.m.

Grades 3-5 Awards Assembly will be Thursday, June 20, at 9 a.m. Parents will be invited if their student will receive an award. Students have a legal day dismissal; no lunch will be served.

Grade 5 will have an end of year celebration on Friday, June 21. This is the last day of school for students and paraprofessionals. Students have a legal day dismissal; no lunch will be served.

Hillcrest Middle School

The 8th grade family breakfast, celebrating the 2013 HMS graduates, will be Thursday, June 20, 8:30-10:30 a.m., in the cafeteria. Friday, June 7: School Store, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. This is the last school store for the yea. School grade packages are available and will again be available in August for the Open House. Tashua School

Survivor week closing ceremonies, Friday, June 7, 2:30 p.m. Families welcome.

The circus is coming to Tashua. The Odd Fellows Performers will be at Tashua School on Friday, June 7, at 6:30 p.m., to celebrate the end of a fantastic school year. There will be an in-school program during each PE class on June 10 and June 12.

"Pennies for Pups" — The graduating class will be having an ice cream social before the circus on June 7, starting at 5 p.m. One of the many items needed for the animal shelter (listed in the upcoming blast) or a $3 donation will get you a dish of ice cream served with animal cookies made by the 5th grade class. All proceeds to benefit the Bridgeport Animal Shelter as part of the 5th grade community service.
