Booth Hill School

Evening conferences will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Lifetouch retakes will take place Thursday, Nov. 13.

Hat day is on Friday, Nov. 14. Bring in $1 to wear a hat. Proceeds will help children in need.

The Student Council Food Drive runs through Wed., Nov. 19. Students are encouraged to bring in canned goods to be donated to the Salvation Army.

Student Council speeches will be read on Thursday, Nov. 20. The Student Council Election is Friday, Nov. 21.

The School Store will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 25 and 26, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

School will be dismissed at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 for Thanksgiving recess.

School is closed Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28, for Thanksgiving recess.

Frenchtown School

Evening conferences, by appointment, will be held Thursday, Nov. 13.

All third grade students will each receive a dictionary donated by the Rotary Club at an assembly tomorrow morning, Nov. 14 at 8:50 a.m.

Fathers’ Club will be hosting their Movie Night in the cafetorium. More information to be sent home.

PTA meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., in the cafetorium. All parents are welcome.

Third grade students are participating in Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet’s (NMYB) En Pointe Residency program held at Frenchtown. Each class attended a 45 minute program on Monday, Nov. 3 and the program will continue Friday, Nov. 14, and Monday, Nov. 17. They will perform at the school on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m.

The District Wide Cultural Diversity meeting will be held at 7 p.m., in the Media Center on Wednesday, Nov. 19. all are welcome to attend.

Photo retakes will be on Thursday, Nov. 20. All students wishing retakes must return their packet of photos that day (excluding class photo). All students new to our school since photo day and students absent on the original photo day will have their pictures taken. Order forms are in the main office.

Jane Ryan School

The PTA is holding a special thank you luncheon for faculty and staff on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Food, drink and monetary donations are needed. Sign up to help at

The Jane Ryan Student Council will be collecting items to send to military men and women overseas. A wish list was sent home in your child’s backpack. Don’t forget to send items into school. Cards, letters and poems by the children will also be accompanying packages. The collection ends on Thursday, Nov. 20.
