School Briefs

Wednesday, Nov. 26, is a legal day dismissal at 1 p.m., for the Thanksgiving break. No lunch will be served. School is closed Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28, for Thanksgiving recess.

Booth Hill School

The School Store will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 25 and 26, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Frenchtown School

Photo retakes will are Thursday, Nov. 20, from 9-11 a.m. All students wishing retakes must return their packet of photos that day (excluding class photo). All students new to our school since photo day and students absent on the original photo day will have their pictures taken. Order forms are in the main office.

Thursday, students will wear red for Accountability; the A in our PBIS Positive Behavior program, T.R.A.C.K.S.

Friday, Nov. 21, Frenchtown is hosting a Ben’s Bells event from 6-8 p.m., for students and families that signed up. It is a free night of creating art that is used to spread kindness.

Wednesday, Nov. 26, grade 4 will perform their Thanksgiving show at 9 a.m., and grade 1 will have their Thanksgiving PowWow at noon.

Jane Ryan School

The Jane Ryan Father’s Club is hosting movie night on Friday, Nov. 21, in the cafeteria at 7 p.m. The movie is Night at the Museum. Admission is free and refreshments are available for purchase.

Middlebrook School

Nov. 20, PTA meeting 7:30 p.m., in the Media Center.

Nov. 21, Father’s Club movie night: How to Train Your Dragon 2, rated PG. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., movie starts at 6:30. Soup, sandwich, a drink and popcorn included with admission price of $4 per person/PTA members or $5 non-PTA.
