Jane Ryan kicks off Super Bowl Sunday with annual Pancake Breakfast

The Jane Ryan Father’s Club (“JRFC”) will host its 22nd annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Feb. 1, at Jane Ryan School, 190 Park Lane. This is the longest running Father’s Club pancake breakfast event in the Trumbull’s elementary school system and over the years, we’ve developed a program that not only satisfies one’s hunger but need for fun.

The All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast will run from 9 a.m.-noon. The breakfast consists of pancakes (blueberry, chocolate chip and plain), sausage, fruit, bagels, juice, coffee and more.

Admission is $5 (pre-kindergartners enter free) and may be paid at the door. Proceeds from the breakfast support the Jane Ryan School by providing funds for new learning aids, books, equipment and other resources.

In addition to the breakfast, the event also features raffles and games of skill. Games include field-goal kicking, football toss, golf putting, tic-tac-toe and other games designed for children of all ages. The economical participation pricing allows everyone to demonstrate their skills.

Last year, the Fathers Club served over 2,000 pancakes and nearly 1,000 sausages to nearly 700 attendees. Come help us make this year’s event another success for our children’s education.
