Western New England University — David Briganti was among 14 honored with the 2016 Skookum Award. Students receiving this award have demonstrated excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, athletics, volunteer work, and community service. The word "Skookum" in the Chinook language means "excellence." This year's award recipients were nominated by faculty, staff, and coaches. Briganti is majoring in Accounting.
