Dressed as Wonder Woman, Daniela Ferreira, 19, Trumbull, strikes a victory pose during the second half of the 2013 Run MS event, held Saturday, Oct. 26, at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. Finishing in 27 minutes, Ferreira came in 26th out of 129 women in her division. The Halloween-themed run, in which participants were encouraged to dress in costume, attracted more than 600 runners and raised about $20,000 to benefit the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter, and those it serves. Michael Tartar, of Manchester, came in first in the men’s division with a time of 17:48.72, and Allycia Fish, of Marlborough, came in first in the women’s division with a time of 21:17.77.
