Adventures in Edible Plant Foraging — Saturday, June 18, 10 a.m.-noon; Ages 7 and up with adult, $3/person. As the wet days of spring start to lengthen and become the warm days of summer, the world around you explodes with a bounty of green plants, new shoots, colorful flowers, and sweet berries; many of which can be safely collected and eaten. Join The 3 Foragers as they walk and identify, discuss, and taste the landscape, with an emphasis on sustainable harvests and wonderful tasting wild foods.

The Great Firefly Round-up and Smore's — Friday, July 1, 8:30-10:30 p.m. All ages (parental supervision required), $3/person, Gather at sunset and learn a bit about fireflies as we celebrate this curious insect. Hear a story about a love struck bug, learn why fireflies glow and grab a net and jar before venturing into the summer night to participate in a friendly competition. Then gather round the campfire to make s’mores! Bring a flashlight. Great for families.
