No One Is Too Old for Fairytales — Series: Run — Choose Your Own Adventure. Saturday, June 25, 10-10:30 a.m. Dress as your favorite fairytale character, princess or superhero, then come to NIA’s 5 Pennies Park for a 398.2 meter (1/4 mile) go-round of the grounds. Choose your distance. P.S. 398.2 is the call number for fairy tales. Families welcome. Free. Register. Meet at Bunny Fountain at Nichols Improvement Association.

Maker Monday — Grades K-5. Monday, June 27, 2-3 p.m. Have fun exploring our three different maker stations and learning cool science. For kids entering grades K-5. Register.

“Drive-In” movie — Ages 3 and up. Tuesday, June 28, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Decorate and sit in your very own “car” to watch a short children’s show/cartoon. Popcorn. Register.

Junior authors workshop series — Ages 8-11. Tuesday, June 28, 3-4 p.m. Does your child like to create their own stories? Kids will learn the basics of writing and how to structure a story. They will write and illustrate their own books that will be displayed in the library. Six Tuesdays thru Aug. 2. Attend as many as possible. Free. Register.
