Teens. How to draw superheroes with Paul Merklein — Wednesday, July 6, 5-6:15 p.m. Do you like to draw? Do you like superheroes? Cartoonist Paul Merklein shows teens and tweens how to draw these famous cartoon characters in this highly interactive presentation. Free. Register.

Baby Café — Birth to Age 2. Wednesday, July 6, 11-11:30 a.m. Sing, play, read, and have fun with your little one. Drop in.

Craft tables — Thursday, July 7, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Drop in any time between 10 and 1 to make a fun craft. All materials provided. In Main Children’s area.

“Drive-In” Movie — Ages 3 and up. Tuesday, July 5, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Decorate and sit in your very own “car” to watch a short children’s show/cartoon. Popcorn. Register.

Junior authors workshop series — Ages 8-11. Tuesday, July 5, 3-4 p.m. Does your child like to create their own stories? Kids will learn the basics of writing and how to structure a story. They will write and illustrate their own books that will be displayed in the library. Six Tuesdays thru aug. 2. Attend as many as possible. Free. Register.

Storytime — Ages 2 1/2-3. Wednesday, July 6, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Come join us for storytime. We’ll read stories and create some fun art. Drop in.

Robert the Guitar Guy — Ages to 8. Wednesday, July 6, 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.. Come sing, jump, and clap to nursery rhymes and favorite movie songs with Robert. Drop in.
