Book Club for grades 6 and up — Wednesday, June 14, 5:30-6:15 p.m. June’s title is Up From the Sea, by Leza Lowitz. This novel in verse form is about the March 2011 tsunami in Japan, told from the point-of-view of biracial teenager Kai, who loses nearly everyone and everything important to him. First 10 registrants get copy. Discussion, snacks and activity.
