Cartoonist Doug Smith Doug Smith will discuss his career as a cartoonist with anecdotes, screen presentations, question and answers, and drawing for the audience Tuesday, May 28, 6:30 p.m. Smith is an award-winning editorial cartoonist whose weekly cartoons appeared in The Trumbull Times as well as other publications.
Family Book Club — Princess Pulverizer: Grilled Cheese and Dragons by Nancy Krulik, for grades 1-3, Thursday, May 23, 5-5:45 p.m. Reading the book as a family, then coming together to discuss it with other families. Refreshments are served. Registration is required.
Ramadan Storytime — Children ages 3-11 learn about the month of Ramadan and the holiday Eid al-Fitr with a storytime and craft Saturday, May 25, 2-3 p.m. Listening to the book, It’s Ramadan, Curious George by Hena Khan and making a card celebrating Eid. Registration is required.
