Twelve-year-old holds dance camp fund-raiser to help pets at shelter
Lydia Prezioso (age 12), loves to dance and has been dancing for 10 years. Recently, she held a summer dance camp at her home in Trumbull. She recruited seven girls (Kindergarten to 4th grade) and taught them three styles of dance: jazz, hip hop and lyrical. The camp was held for four days, two times per week, ending with an outdoor recital for the girls to perform for family and friends.
Lydia decided to hold the show with the intention of raising money for a charity. And, since she is a dog lover and owner of two Golden Retrievers, she choose to donate all the money raised to the Trumbull Animal Shelter, which amounted to $100.
