With snow predicted to begin after 11 a.m. Tuesday morning, Trumbull Public Schools announced they will dismiss early.

In addition, all afternoon preschool programs and after school activities are cancelled.

According to the National Weather Service, the temperatures will begin to drop between 11 a.m. and noon and the chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

The real problematic weather is forecasted to happen from noon and 9 p.m. with a combination of rain and snow.

The weather service said that will turn into a rain and sleet between 9 p.m. and midnight.

After midnight rain is forecasted with temperatures estimated to be around 34 degrees.

Similar to earlier in the day, the forecast says there's a 90% chance of precipitation and the new snow and sleet accumulation is predicted to be less than one inch.
