Trumbull Republican Town Committee announces state chairman as guest speaker

The Trumbull Republican Town Committee has announced Connecticut Republican Party Chairman, J.R. Romano as the guest speaker for its upcoming Lincoln-Reagan dinner, to be held Friday, May 6, at Vazzy’s Four Seasons in Stratford.
Chairman Romano has dedicated a majority of his professional career to Connecticut Republican politics, during which he has acquired a unique depth of knowledge of the Connecticut political landscape. A Connecticut native, J.R. was raised in Derby, graduated from Trinity College and currently lives in Branford.

Statewide, J.R. ran the Connecticut arm of “Americans for Prosperity”. While in this role he raised over $1 million dollars and built the organization to over 80,000 members. In 2014, J.R.’s efforts with the Tim Herbst campaign for State Treasurer resulted in Tim’s outstanding under ticket campaign, despite a narrow loss. Team

Herbst outperformed the top of the ticket in every Congressional District as well as state-wide.

Most recently, J.R. was elected Chairman of the Connecticut Republican Party this past June. Soon after manning his new post, J.R. spearheaded the launch of the “Take Back Connecticut” campaign. This initiative has taken J.R. all over the state promoting the Connecticut Republican Party’s principle belief in the wisdom of the people to manage their own lives and, through the generosity of the human spirit, share their good fortune with those less fortunate.

Regrettably, due to the chronic, and ill-advised actions of our state’s current administration more and more residents are finding themselves in the “less-fortunate” category.

Join the Trumbull Republican Town Committee on as Chairman Romano shares the State Republican Party’s plan on how we, through our actions at the local level can help “Take Back Connecticut”!
