The Trumbull Library, 33 Quality St., will host Songbirds of the Northeast on Tuesday, May 17, at 6:30 p.m. Naturalist and educator, John Root will feature both photographs and recordings of our region’s songbirds. The role of song in these birds’ lives as well as their diet, social behavior, and other adaptations for survival are discussed.

Participants will also learn how to provide attractive habitats for songbirds. Questions and comments are welcome throughout the presentation.
