Monroe-Trumbull Toastmasters group is meeting every other Tuesday.
If you’re self-motivated to overcome your fear of public speaking, the group says it provides a platform to build confidence in your ability to speak in front of an audience. Monroe-Trumbull Toastmasters Club (formally Trumbull Toastmasters) welcomes guests to observe how members develop skills in communication and leadership.
The Toastmasters meet at BodySmart, Crescent Village 115 Main Street (Route 25), Unit 11, Monroe, every other Tuesday from 12-1 p.m. Entrance and parking located in rear. For the next meeting date and contact information visit monroetrumbull.toastmastersclubs.org.
Members choose among a variety of speech topics, participate in hands-on leadership roles, exercise effective time management and sharpen networking skills with impromptu speaking.
The club is open to all interested parties 18 and older in Monroe, Trumbull, and neighboring communities.
Monroe-Trumbull Toastmasters is a chartered club of Toastmasters International, a nonprofit educational organization that teaches communication, public speaking and leadership skills.
