Team in Training supports Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training program trains participants to complete endurance events while raising money to fund life-saving research to find cures for blood and other cancers.
Team in Training, the world’s largest endurance sports training program is offering their “New Year — New You” initiative where participants receive a comprehensive program to help achieve their goal of completing a marathon, half marathon, triathlon, and long distance bike ride, hike or swim. Participants receive training from top-notch coaches, access to a network of local fitness partners, fundraising support, and the chance to be part of a powerful force that has raised more than $1.4 billion dollars to fund research and treatment advances for cancer patients around the world.
As a recruitment event, Team in Training will also offer a free zumba class on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 5 p.m., at Crunch Fitness, 770 Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk.
To celebrate the new year, the Connecticut Westchester Hudson Valley Chapter of TNT is offering free registration for all events for the summer season. Use the coupon code Happy2016TNT at registration and be a part of the team of your choice free of charge: http://www.teamintraining.org/ctwhv/. This offer expires Feb. 29.
