The Trumbull Monroe Health District (TMHD) is partnering with the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library to provide a free skin cancer education program, The Hot Days of Summer. This program will provide current information and statistics on skin cancer and sun safe tips for the whole family. This screening uses ultraviolet light to highlight the damage caused to the face by the sun. Children, teens, and adults are encouraged to attend. This program is free and open to the general public.

“The Hot Days of Summer: A Skin Cancer Education Program” will be held on Wednesday, April 9, from 10:30-11 a.m., and 11:30 a.m.-noon, at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library (in the Ehlers room), 733 Monroe Tpke., Monroe.
