Learn more about Relay For Life of Monroe/Trumbull and how you can join a team, start your own team, volunteer, raise awareness about cancer prevention and so much more.

This year’s goal has been set at $60,000. Relay For Life is held overnight as teams camp out at an athletic track or park with the goal of keeping at least one team member on the track or pathway at all times throughout the event. Teams do most of their fund-raising prior to the event, but teams also hold creative fund-raisers at their campsites during Relay.

Relay brings together families, friends, schools, businesses, hospitals, faith-based groups--people from all walks of life--all aimed at furthering the American Cancer Society’s efforts to save lives by helping people stay well, by helping them get well, by finding cures and by fighting back.

Relay For Life of Monroe/Trumbull 2014 will take place on June 6 and 7, at Trumbull High School, 72 Strobel Road. Friday evening, June 6 at 6 p.m., will be opening ceremonies as they get underway with teams, volunteers, and the community gathering to celebrate, remember and fight back.
