On Saturday, Aug. 10, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., the Emergency Animal Response Service (EARS) will hold a pet microchip clinic at the Trumbull Animal Shelter, located at 324 Church Hill Road in Trumbull, where certified members of the EARS Team will offer complete microchip service for a one-time cost of $20. The cost includes chip implanting, lifetime registration in the PetLink National Database as well as the EARS Connecticut State Database, and a pet ID card and collar tag. $5 from the cost of each microchip at this event will be donated to the Trumbull Animal Group.

Dogs must be on leashes at all times, and cats must be in sturdy carriers. Members of the EARS Team will answer any questions about microchips while at the event.
