A fund-raising page set up for the 15 year-old Shelton High student, who was shot Saturday, has received an outpouring of support.

Violet Thaqi Wills started a GoFundMe.com page to benefit Kristjan Ndoj, and his family on Tuesday, according to the Trumbull Times' sister paper, The Shelton Herald. By early Wednesday afternoon, the page had surpassed it's initial goal of $5,000 and now has set a goal of $7,500.

The Shelton High School student is currently listed in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital. Shelton Police haven't yet made an arrest in the case.

“We have set up donation collection for Kristjan and his family,” wrote organizer Violet Thaqi Wills on the GoFundMe.com page. “We are looking to help this family in any way. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated.”
