The great firefly roundup and s'mores — Friday, July 1, from 8:30-10:30 p.m. Gather at sunset and learn a bit about fireflies as we celebrate this curious insect. Hear a story about a love struck bug, learn why fireflies glow, and grab a net and jar before venturing into the summer night to participate in a friendly competition. Then gather round the campfire to make s’mores. Bring a flashlight.
Cost: $3/person; all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).
