Trumbull residents who enjoy a nice spring walk should come out to celebrate National Walking Day at noon in front of Town Hall Wednesday, April 6.
First Selectman Tim Herbst and staff members from the Trumbull Health Department will participate in the annual event sponsored by the American Heart Association.
“The Trumbull Health Department is excited to celebrate National Walking Day with our First Selectman and our town employees,” said Rhonda Capuano, the director of the Trumbull Health Department. “This activity is a reminder to include some physical activity into our daily routine as a way to improve one's physical and mental health.”
