Historical bike ride through the valley
Trumbull historian/author, Sue A. DelBianco will be hosting a historical bike ride from the Trumbull Valley-Monroe on Sunday, May 17, at 10 a.m. Cyclists will meet at the Tait Road commuter parking lot at the foot of The Trumbull rail-trail.
DelBianco will bring cyclists on a bike ride back in time, stopping at many historical points-of-interest: An old cow tunnel, remains of a knit mill, remains of a fountain pool from an amusement park that ran in the 1800’s, remains of an old ice house, Old Mines, Hannah Crannah’s gravesite, an old train station in Monroe, and much more.
