Kaitlyn Bailo, a Hillcrest Middle School student, was instrumental in organizing a food drive for local families within the community. The proceeds of this food drive were able to provide food to more than 15 families in the Head Start program. This collaborative effort not only serves a great need, it fulfills her Community Service Volunteer hours. This enabled Trumbull Social Services to assist additional families in Trumbull.
Jessie Marchetti, a 10th grade student at Trumbull High School, decided to collect food for the program she attended as a preschooler.
