Free mental illnesses classes starting in February
Do you have a family member or friend who suffers from mental illness (depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, panic disorder, PTSD, etc.)? National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will be offering a free 12-week course called the Family-to-Family Education Program. The sessions are structured to help caregivers understand and support individuals with mental illness while maintaining their own sense of well-being.
There is no cost to participate. Meetings on Tuesday nights at a location in Trumbull from 7-9:30 p.m., beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Registration is required.
