Trumbull Historian, Sue A. DelBianco, will host an annual historical bike ride on Sunday, May 15, at 11 a.m. Meeting will be at the commuter parking lot on Tait Road in Trumbull. Admission is free. DelBianco
will bring cyclists along the rail-trail where a railroad was once housed, promoting industry and linking the communities. Along the rail-trail, DelBianco will show the cyclists many historical points-of-interest: A foundation of an ice house and a knit mill, a cow tunnel, a fountain pool from Parlor Rock Amusement park, site of a train wreck in 1901, site of a plane crash in World War II, an Indian Ledge, which Indians used as shelter during hunting and fishing seasons and Hannah Crannah's gravesite and much more.
