Anthony Salce of Trumbull, a 98-year-old World War II veteran, who landed at Normandy 75 years ago on D-Day, was in need of a wheelchair.

Wilton’s American Legion Post 86, along with Trumbull American Legion Post 141, provided him with that wheelchair on July 2. Salce has been a member of the American Legion for 80 years.
