Each year, approximately 10,000 of the top physics students from the United States, Canada, and China, compete in the 2016 International Physics Bowl sponsored by the American Association of Physics Teachers. Four students from Christian Heritage School competed this year: Jessica Lawlor (of Trumbull, Hannah Shipman (of Trumbull, CT), Victor Wei (of Stratford, CT), and Orson Wu (of Orange, CT)
CHS is proud to announce that junior Victor Wei earned the top score in division III, the highest score for all private and public schools in the New England Region. In addition, Victor Wei's performance ranked him No. 80 of all participants worldwide.
“Congratulations to Victor Wei for an amazing performance in the Physics Bowl competition,” the school said in a release.
