Ceremony to honor veterans to be held Nov. 11 at Trumbull High School

American Legion Post 141 and VFW Post 10059 will once again be partnering with Trumbull’s educational community to celebrate Veterans’ Day. A ceremony will take place on Friday, Nov. 11, at 8:30 a.m., in the Trumbull High School auditorium, 72 Strobel Road.

Participants will include past and present members of our armed forces, state and local political and educational dignitaries, clergy, and the senior class of Trumbull High School.

Patriotic musical accompaniment will be provided by the Trumbull High School Chamber Singers and the Golden Eagle Marching Band.

A keynote address will be presented by Matt D’Amico, a graduate of the Naval Academy and a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War.

Veterans of Trumbull and surrounding towns are encouraged to attend and bring guests. Join in honoring those who have served, and continue to serve, in times of war and in peace, to preserve the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.
