Cell phone drive to help victims of domestic violence

The Nursery School at Congregation B’nai Torah, 5700 Main Street, Trumbull is holding a cell phone drive to help victims of domestic abuse. All donated phones will be reprogrammed and turned over to the Center for Family Justice, an agency that assists victims of domestic violence. The phones do not have to be in working condition.

Wireless Wizard, a Bridgeport-based cellular communications company cleans and refurbishes the donated phones for families in need at the center. Phone accessories including batteries, chargers and headsets also are accepted.

Collection boxes may be found at the following Trumbull locations: B’nai Torah Nursery School, 5700 Main Street; Minute Men Cleaners, 5893 Main Street; Old Towne Restaurant, 60 Quality Street; Trumbull Library, 33 Quality Street; Fairchild Nichols Branch, 1718 Huntington Turnpike; Gioves Pizza Kitchen, 2 Daniels Farm Road; Starbucks, 938 White Plains Road; Trumbull Police Station, 158 Edison Road.

Additional drop off locations are Newtown Library, 25 Main Street, Newtown and Monroe Library, 733 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe.
