Calling all Bingo players
At Congregation B'nai Torah, 5700 Main St., they have a group of Bingo players that join on Monday evenings. Players range in age from young families to senior citizens. The B’nai Torah members who volunteer their time to help, over time, have come to know many of the players by name.
After more than 40 years of offering Bingo on Monday evenings, their Bingo is now more state of the art, with recently purchased Bingo machine and new tables The new machine will help make the process of calling Bingo more streamlined and accurate. In addition, with a handy code located in the center of each Bingo card, the caller who announces the numbers, can electronically verify, “We have a Winner!”
In addition to the traditional Bingo games, players have the opportunity to purchase various Special game cards throughout the evening. There are also door prizes; anyone who pays admission is automatically entered for a chance to win.
The jackpot increases each week until $1,000 is reached, at which time they play until there is a winner. The next jackpot will be given away on Monday, Jan. 7.
Complimentary coffee or tea with your paid admission all evening. The doors open at 6 p.m., and the Bingo fun begins at 7.
