Laura Wilk will be the guest artist at the CT Classic Arts meeting held in the community room at the Trumbull Library at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5.

After a meet and greet with the artist, there will be a demonstration at 1:30 p.m.

An accomplished artist, Laura Wilk has been teaching art lessons and giving demonstrations for many years. Her art has evolved from fiber art to works on paper but primarily paints in watercolor with a glazing technique.

She has taught classes at various organizations and presently teaches at SCAN in Newtown and in her private studio. Her paintings have won numerous awards, most recently from CT Watercolor Society.Her work has been published in Splash 12: Best of Watercolor/Celebrating Artist Vision.

A member of many art organizations, her work is represented by the Elm City Artists Gallery of New Haven.CCA meetings are always open to the public.

Those interested in seeing a monthly professional demonstration of the arts are always welcome to join. There is a guest fee of $5. Refreshments will be served.
