On Tuesday, April 28, at 7 p.m., there will be a meeting of the CROP Walk Committee at Lordship Community Church,179 Prospect Drive, Stratford. The Rev. Jeff Lukens, will host.
Plans will be finalized for the 41st annual CROP Walk set for Sunday, May 3. The walk is rain or shine.
Registration at 1:30 p.m., at the United Congregational Church, corner of State Street and Park Avenue in Bridgeport.
This walk is sponsored by Church World Service; a portion of the monies raised will remain in the Bridgeport area for hunger-related programs.
Those walking are asked to bring non-perishable food items for local food programs.
