Bijou Holiday Spectacular features an evening of Christmas music
The Bijou Theatre presents the return of the Bijou Holiday Spectacular, featuring Christmas classics and contemporary favorites, as well as brand new arrangements written just for the show Friday, Dec. 18, at 8 p.m., at the theater, 275 Fairfield Avenue. Doors open at 7.

In the spirit of the season The Bijou Theatre will be collecting new, unwrapped stuffed animals which will be donated to a local Bridgeport Neighborhood Charity.
A new slate of Bijou singers & dancers will perform great selections of Christmas classics like O Holy Night and The Christmas Song, new arrangements of I’ll Be Home For Christmas and Do You Hear What I Hear? and contemporary hits by Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande.
“I’ve had the privilege of working with each of the performers on the Bijou stage and beyond” said director Juan Ayala of Trumbull, “These are some of the most talented individuals I’ve worked with and I can’t wait for the audience to see what they can do.”
The concert features musical direction by Bill D’Andrea who is also no stranger to the Bijou, having previously contributed his musical talents in six productions including You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Nuncrackers, Godspell and Fame.

The Bijou Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing visual and performing arts programs and events for the community. The Bijou Theatre offers educational programs in dance through New England Ballet, Music and Theatre, as well as special events and live theatre performances. Private donations, grants, tuition fees & ticket sales fund the Bijou Theatre which is located at 275 Fairfield Avenue in Downtown Bridgeport.
