The Emil Hayducky Classic Car Show: A Classic Car Show In Loving Memory of A Classic man is set for Saturday, Aug. 2, 12-4 p.m.

Show will held at VFW Post 7788, which will be the beneficiary of the show.

All cars are welcome for show. Raffles, trophies and more that day.

The Southport Fire Department presents the annual Fired Up car show Saturday, Aug. 9, 11-4 p.m.

Held at the Ukrainian American Club of Southport, 279 King’s Drive, it’s open to all cars and trucks.

Cost: pre-registration, $10; $15 day of event.

Antique and classic car and motorcycle show is Saturday, Sept. 20, 10-3 p.m. at Fairfield Elks Lodge, 452 Brookside Drive.

Cost is $10 for entry into the show. Cost includes food for driver. Pre-registration required.

A car show will take place at Plasko’s Farm, 670 Daniels Farm Road in Trumbull, on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Co-sponsored with the Monroe Street Rodders, the show will feature Street Rods, Hot Rods, Muscle cars, Classic and Customs 1985 and earlier; $10 registration for cars at the gate. Gates for cars close when the lot is full. Trophies will be awarded. Free admission .

A portion of the profits will benefit St. Vincent’s Swim Across the Sound.
