The Trumbull Library, 33 Quality Street, will offer an Adult Doodle Workshop on Friday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m.  This beginners workshop is based on the popular art doodling movement that transforms simple line designs into works of art.  There will be step-by-step instruction and a choice of various designs for participants to transform into their own small works of art.  Participants will work on paper tiles, use extra fine artists’ markers, add creative ‘etching’ and finish with the addition of vibrant color.   It is proven that sketching is meditative, quiets the mind, reduces stress, and improves focus.

The library’s program coordinator, Jackie Carlino comments, “With the current adult coloring craze, the library needed to offer some way for patrons to give it a try.  With the doodle workshop, we are offering a way for our patrons to learn a new art form, de-stress, and tap into their inner creativitiy!”

The workshop is free and all materials will be supplied.   Registration is required and can be done through the library’s website www.trumbullct-library.org or by calling the library at 203-452-5197.
