A 'cool' tradition for the Bell family

Austin Bell’s fifth birthday party June 22 on Canoe Brook Lake included a special treat: Snowballs saved from Blizzard Nemo. Saving snowballs from the previous winter is a tradition in the Bell family that dates back to 1952, with Austin’s grandfather Don Bell and, later, his father, Adam Bell. The Connecticut Post ran photos of both previous snowball parties, helping to keep the tradition alive. See photo below for previous snowball parties.
