Emergency Pet Preparedness. Thursday, May 8, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Are you ‘Pet Prepared’ for an emergency in your home or a disaster in your town? Jon Nowinski of CT Emergency Animal Response Service (EARS), will discuss how you can be better prepared for emergencies that affect your animals. Handouts with helpful tips and highlighting possible emergencies in CT. Open to all, but please leave your pets at home. Register.
China Travelogue — Presented by Jay Bhandary. Tues. May 13, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Travel writer and photographer J.M. Bhandary shares scenes from his trip exploring Beijing, Shanghai, Xian (home of the Terracotta soldiers), the Yangtze River and the Three River Gorges Dam. Please register.
