Registration for main library fall storytimes continues — Programs begin the week of Oct. 6.

Family Chess Club. Saturday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m.-noon. Selva Selvarajan’s Family Chess Club will assemble on the first and third Saturdays (except for long weekends). Chess learners and experts from 4 to 94 are welcome. Meet in the Children’s Section with your own board, or come to watch.

Drop in play group. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Special play group for September. Families with children ages 1-3 are invited to read, sing and play with us. No registration needed.
