AARP Drivers Safety Program — Saturday, July 11, 10-2 p.m. At the one day / 4 hour safety program AARP offers a refresher class for motorists. Author visit — Nigeria Revisited by Peace Corp Volunteer Catherine Onyemelukwe. Monday, July 13, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Join us for Catherine’s fascinating 1962 Peace Corp memoir on adapting to cultures and embracing differences. Make it fun this year by reading and discussing books with friends and classmates. First is Shadow, half today, and half on July 22. A related activity is included. Glass painting for middle and high school — Thursday, July 16, 4-5 p.m. Create a uniquely decorated drinking glass or vase using glass paint and paint markers. Use a pattern, or your imagination for the design. Materials supplied. Register; max 20.

Music Mandy drop in — Friday, July 10, 10-11 a.m. Trumbull resident and music educator will entertain the masses in the main area of the Children’s room.
