Trumbull law firm expands services with new space, hires
The law firm of Goldman, Gruder & Woods LLC recently announced an expansion of its Trumbull office.
The law firm, which is headquartered in Norwalk and has an additional office in Greenwich, opened its Trumbull location three years ago.
“We went from our original teeny office to our second, larger area not long after, and now have moved into a truly first-class space within the same building,” said firm principal and Trumbull resident Michael Goldman. “Our landlord, Jeff Wright, has been exceptionally accommodating and graciously has met all our needs.”
The new, 2,000-square-foot suite of offices on the ground floor of the business center at 105 Technology Drive boasts at its center a spacious conference room that Goldman and his partners have equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate client and staff meetings, including multiple laptop ports in the conference table and smartboards for presentations.
Goldman said he signed a 10-year lease.
“In addition to space for litigation preparation and real estate closings, we have additional space our Norwalk-based attorneys can use for meetings and closings if the Trumbull location is more convenient for clients,” Goldman added. “I believe this expansion will help grow our injury practice significantly.”
Attorneys at the law firm focus on real property litigation, business and corporate law, injury, health care, estate planning and probate, and landlord/tenant matters.
Resident in the Trumbull office are two of the firm’s partners, Bruce Elstein of Trumbull and Frank Lieto of Monroe, along with two litigation paralegals and a real estate paralegal. An associate attorney, Nicole Barber of Wilton, also is resident in Trumbull.
Recently, the firm brought a second associate on board for the Trumbull office: John Ribas joined Goldman, Gruder & Woods as a litigation associate this month after having worked previously at a Hartford law firm. Ribas lives in Shelton with his fiancée.
This year, Goldman, Gruder & Woods celebrates its 20th anniversary of business. It has grown from a practice of five employees operating in Norwalk to that city’s largest law firm with more than 30 employees. To help mark the anniversary, Norwalk Mayor Harry W. Rilling presented the firm with an official proclamation of honor.
