September 14 — Trumbull Arts Festival; stop by our Trumbull Historical Society booth on Sunday, Sept. 14 for historic prints and information on our Society.
September 21 — Picnic in the Park. On Sunday, Sept. 21, from 1-4 p.m., the Trumbull Historical Society is hosting an old-fashioned community picnic with children’s games, raffles and summertime treats. The picnic will be held under the pines at the Abraham Nichols Park alongside our homestead . Admission is free. Bring your picnic basket lunch with blanket and chairs and join us in celebrating our 50th anniversary. Popcorn and watermelon will be provided and ice cream will be available for purchase.
September 24 — Our “BeeHive” crafting circle will be continuing its’ monthly gathering on Wednesday, Sept 24, at 6:30 p.m., at the Trumbull Historical Society homestead. This promises to be an informative, social gathering of crafters where you can work on your own existing projects, share ideas and make new friends. We hope to have some experienced quilters, knitters, crocheters joining us. No need to register; just bring yourself, some handiwork, and a friend.
Cost: $5 (includes tea+).
