The Malloys host reception for The Center for Family Justice
Governor Malloy and his wife recently held a reception at the Governor’s mansion in Hartford to benefit The Center for Family Justice.
At the event, Janet and Jacob Navon of Westport announced their $50,000 challenge: If The Center raises $50,000, the Navons will donate $50,000 to The Center.
The Center is transitioning into our state’s first Family Justice Center, and the 85th in the world, bringing all services under one roof — police, prosecutors, civil/legal, social services — for victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault. The Center also runs satellite offices in Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.
