This year’s 2015 annual Swim-a-thon/Walk-a-thon will be held on Saturday, July 18, at the Fairfield YMCA, 841 Old Post Road, from noon-9 p.m., due to major renovations at the Fairfield University Recplex pool. “Thank you to the wonderful Sponsorship from the Fairfield YMCA, we will be able to create success and memories at their great facility utilizing their staff members.”

All ages are encouraged to participate by swimming laps and raising pledges per lap and/or collecting pledges for the 1.5 mile walk from the YMCA to the beach and back. Each swimmer/walker must raise a minimum of $50 in pledges to participate and receive a SWIM Across the Sound T-shirt. Additional prizes will be awarded the higher the total pledged.
