Thirty-two restaurants, and counting, are participating in Stratford’s first Restaurant Week, which will run from Sunday, April 6, to Saturday, April 12.

Restaurant Week is part of the town’s 375th anniversary celebration, and restaurants will be offering a special price-fixed menu related to 1639, the year Stratford was established.

Participating restaurants will have either one, two or all of the following special offers: $3.75 breakfast specials for some restaurants; $16.39 or $37.50 for two (for 375th) for lunch or dinner, according to Mary Dean, executive director of the Stratford Chamber of Commerce.

Organizers expect restaurants to see an influx of business and a special camaraderie among townspeople and visitors.

As of March 31, the list of participating restaurants included Acapulcos, Bella Napoli Pizza, Blue Goose Restaurant, Blue Sky Diner, Dao Fusion Cuisine & Lounge, Frog Pond, Gino’s Pizza, Juliano’s Pizza Restaurant, Kingston Kafe, and Knapp’s Landing Restaurant.

Also, Krissy’s Korner, Lil’ Mo’s Cafe, Lumi Restaurant, Mare Bello, Marnick’s Restaurant, McCoy’s Pub, Metro Diner, Off the Hook Grill, Outrigger’s Restaurant, Panda House Restaurant, and Paradise Pizza Restaurant.

Also, The Rivers Edge Cafe and Bakery, Riverview Bistro, Romano’s Pizza, Siena Italian Trattoria, Stanziale’s Restaurant, StationHouse Wine Bar & Grill, Stella’s Ristorante, Sweet Mustard Sandwich Shop, The Sitting Duck, The Windmill Tavern, Vazzy’s of Stratford, and Villa Pizza Italian Restaurant.
