Noted author of the books Zabelle and Dreams of Fire, Nancy Kricorian, will present a slideshow about the research that went into her recent novel All The Light There Was, on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 1:30 p.m., at the church hall at Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension, 1460 Huntington Tpke. All The Light There Was is the story of an Armenian family living in Paris during the dark days of the Nazi Occupation. It includes a bittersweet love story and examples of everyday heroism.

The event is presented by the Women’s Guild and is free and open to the public. Arrive early for Divine Liturgy, at 10:30 a.m., and coffee hour, 12:30 p.m. Copies of All the Light There Was will be available for purchase, and signed by the author.
