Resident named to senior bank post
Trumbull resident Raymond G. Michaud has been named Senior Mortgage Loan Officer at The Bank of Fairfield.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the origination of residential real estate mortgage loans for purchase, refinance, construction and rehab, and debt consolidation. He will be focused on serving residential customers in Fairfield, Easton, Trumbull, Monroe, Shelton, Stratford and Milford.
“We are pleased to have someone of Raymond’s caliber join our team,” said bank President Robert Palermo. “With his expertise and understanding of the local market and active involvement in the extended community, we believe that Raymond will be a valuable asset to the bank and a strong addition to the team.”
Michaud’s mortgage career in Connecticut spans 19 years and includes conventional and government residential lending, in addition to paralegal work in real estate, bankruptcy and foreclosure.
He is an affiliate member of both the Greater Bridgeport and Greater Fairfield Boards of Realtors and teaches classes on mortgage financing. He is a founding member of the Trumbull Alliance networking group and currently serves as the group’s president and education coordinator.
