Nichols Improvement Association to hold family picnic
The Nichols Improvement Association (NIA) will hold its Summer Family Picnic on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. for members. Anyone new to Nichols or the NIA, can join the association in 2015 for half-price which will provide their newsletter and eblasts. There are many upcoming fall and early winter activites for families of all ages.
The picnic will have free hotdogs and hamburgers for all members as well as lemonade and ice cream. Members are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share with 10 people.
If you would like to help out at the picnic, contact Joe Potvin at 203-305-0945 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Nichols Inprovement Association hosted the first Summer Adult Co-ed Kickball League with more than 200 participants. The league was led by Sharon Mullen with support from the NIA Board, several NIA volunteers, and held on the NIA’s Moore Ballfields. This year’s winners were Kickin It Old School led by Captain Heather Greene.
