Carol King Platt will be the featured speaker when the Long Hill Garden Club meets on Monday, Nov. 23  at the Trumbull Library. The meeting begins at 11:30 and the program will start at 12:45. The program will be Holiday Decorations from Nature’s Bounty. She will demonstrate how to create several beautiful holiday centerpieces which might be yours at the end of the program.

Platt is a former contributing editor at House & Garden and for 23 years wrote a garden column for The New London Day. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Traditional Home and many local publications. She lectures regularly about garden design and flower arranging throughout Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island.

There is a $10 guest fee.
